Every week I send people for bloodwork, and every week I get back remarkable deficiencies in Vitamin D which can result a whole host of symptoms that can be found on the Doctor's Resource. While supplementation isn't necessary for everyone, the winter is prime time for Vit. D deficiency, especially among those with darker skin. Make sure to ask your care provider about whether you may be Vit. D deficient, how to test for it, and what to do about it.

Definitely some very key points in this article about the:
a) importance of SUNLIGHT and Vitamin D
b) the role in vaccination for diseases such as Chicken Pox and
c) LONG term outcomes for being exposed to chicken pox both with and without being vaccinated.

Thoughts?

Thank you for the update. I am passing along some of this info to other family members. Wanted you to know we all appreciate info such as this. Living in Ithaca is challenging enough without being sick physically.... I used to take Vit. D, and don't really even know when I stopped taking it, so will pick up some more. I think I need a caretaker - or at least the brains to perhaps write down what I should be taking, and keep a running tab.
Thank you again -
